In our embryonic state, we didn't do much of this and, because we knew it was difficult (tricky, in English), we asked someone with a proven track record for help. A friendly neighbor who knew a thing or two about it helped us create the charter we're so proud of.

We called in a friend of a friend, who is now a team member, to put what we had envisioned into practice. Wise in her craft and an experienced captain (she's been learning from the best), she leads the sailors in the kitchen.

We focused on seafood and the best way to bring it to fruition, mixing the traditional with the less banal.

At door number 128 on Rua da Boavista, in downtown Lisbon, we found a little corner for ourselves.

BAR

The first to be called was our bar manager. Because we believed in her and knew what she was capable of. Experienced, but hungry to know more. We gave her a blank slate to show us her full potential. She had several ideas for themes and concepts, but in the end she realized that the best concept is to do what she does best.

There have even been more books than drinks in our bar, in the quest to improve techniques and experiences, and even without customers, the drinks have never stopped coming. You can try some of our dishes at our bar, but what we really want you to do is try our cocktails (preferably our own).

If you just want to come for a drink, welcome to Bar&Nada.
